~~~ Daisy Mae has been found!!! She is home safe :)
Thanks to the kindness of a stranger, Daisy Mae is now safe and sound home.  She had ticks and prickers on her, but other wise healthy and hydrated after being gone for almost 2 weeks.
Thank you so very much Mr person who found her wondering in the woods.  Even though she tried to bite him, he still made sure she was safe and had food in her belly before taking her to my vet.  The vet info was on her tag with the words seizure dog, needs meds.
Thank you to those of you who took the time to look at my blog and prayed for her safe return.  God is good, no wait, God is GREAT!!!
Daisy Mae still missing, but there are still sightings in the New Vernon NY area
Got a call from someone in New Vernon on Cornfield Road saying they say Daisy Mae around 9:30 am on Monday the 11th.  I am still hopeful but growing increasingly worried with not only the cold season but hunting season just around the corner.  She is very fearful of gun shots.
We miss her very much, family is very heartbroken and so is our other dog.
New vernon Map
Daisy Mae was last seen in the New Vernon area on 11/9/13.  She was very frightened by the gun shots as per the nice person who called me from the ad I posted on craigslist.
I continue to have faith.  I posted fliers......
Daisy Mae is an 11 year old Lab/Chow mix who became frightened on Monday, November 4th when she heard repeated gun shots from the neighbors a few doors down.  She ripped a hole in the fence and ran away.  She is a frightened baby girl who needs her seizure meds.  Please help me find her; I am very worried.  I have not only looked every day for her, but I have also set up humane traps without any  luck.  I put food out in hope of bringing her out of hiding. She was last seen near Howells Rd and Derby Rd.
She will NOT come to anyone when her name is called.  I have done a lot of research about frightened dogs and wish I knew all of this info when there was a siting of her on Tuesday, the 5th. She ran along the RR tracks towards Howells/Otisville and I have not seen her since.
Here is a great link with info on frightened dogs.  Please take a look at it.  You never know when this information will come in handy.  Had I known any of this prior, she would most likely be home with me.
